Weddings are a wonderful reflection of God’s love for people. Grace Pointe is an excellent option for hosting your marriage ceremony. We would love to play a role in your special day. Couples interested in using our building for their ceremony should follow the following steps.
Step 1: Wedding Consultation
We take marriage very seriously at Grace Pointe. Because of this we want to do everything in our power to ensure that your marriage will be a long-term success. If you were interested in having your ceremony in our building, you first need to have a wedding consultation. This can be done in person, or by looking over our church’s policy and requirements for marriage. Once these forms are understood and signed, you can turn them in to the church office. If you have any questions about our church’s policy or requirements on marriage, we’d be glad to answer any questions.
Step 2: Visit the Church
After your initial consultation, you should schedule a time to visit the church building. An office staff will show you around to help determine if our building is a good fit for your marriage ceremony needs.
Step 3: Enroll in Pre-marital Counseling
Because we take marriage so seriously, we want to make sure every couple goes through pre-marital counseling before their wedding. These sessions can be scheduled through Grace Pointe, or another organization. The goal is to ensure that every couple is adequately prepared for the joys and stresses of marriage long after saying, “I do”.
Step 4: Plan Your Ceremony
Once you have completed steps 1 through 3, it’s time to meet with a pastor from Grace Pointe to begin working through your ceremony. We will send you a template we typically use for marriage ceremonies and can talk through pieces you would like to add/subtract to meet your needs.
Step 5: Enjoy!
We understand the process of planning a wedding is stressful. We hope to do everything we can to make this process as painless as possible. We will walk alongside of you to remind you to enjoy every step of this special planning process.
