Apples of Gold is a ministry that is faithfully and intentionally following Paul’s directive in Titus 2:3-5: “Older women. . . are to teach what is good and so train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the Word of God may not be reviled.” The program is shared in a small, group setting where mature Christian women share food, fellowship, and practical application of biblical teaching with younger women. Topics covered during the lessons are kindness, loving your children, loving your husband, submission, purity, and hospitality. For more information, contact Laurel Schmitz at ruprayin2@gmail.com.

Opportunities for Service

Hands of Grace is a meals ministry committed to coming alongside people in need and helping them in a tangible way. Our focus is on church attendees who are not already plugged into a small group or Sunday school class. We show hospitality by providing meals to individuals in our church who need short-term assistance during a difficult time (I.e. surgery, birth or death in the family). With God’s leading, Hands of Grace has expanded to include a Funeral ministry, where we provide food and/or serving help for families following a funeral. Our key verse is, “Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality” (Romans 12:13). Please contact brandymichalek@gmail.com or marytysonbradshaw@yahoo.com.
