People are often protective of their two most valuable resources, their time and money. But, Jesus suggested that his kingdom is built on earth through individuals generously giving their most prized possessions to serve others.
Grace Pointe wants to help you join the mission of Jesus and make an eternal difference in the world. We offer many opportunities for you to give your time through service each week. We also offer many ways for individuals attending Grace Pointe to share their resources through giving.
There are multiple ways to give financially to Grace Pointe Church. Regardless of how you give each month, it is important to plan ahead and set aside a certain amount for giving. As a church, we offer three easy ways to give each week: Sunday morning offering, mobile, online.
Sunday morning offering: You will be given an opportunity to give financially every Sunday morning through the offering. This is a chance to give through cash or check to the church.
Mobile: You can also use your smartphone to give. Mobile giving gives you a convenient way to keep up with your giving anytime, anywhere.
Online: Giving can also be done through our church website. Using the link below, you can give one time, or even set aside recurring giving, to give the same amount each week or month.
Serving
There are many ways a person can give toward the ministry of the church. One of the most important ways a follower of Jesus gives is through their time. Offering our time through service is one of the primary ways a Christian grows in their faith. As a church we want you to find a place you’re passionate to serve. At Grace Pointe, we want to fuel your fire for service.
Serving within the church is one of the most important ways a follower of Jesus grows in their faith. During Jesus’ earthly ministry his disciples were constantly ministering to needy people desperate for healing. The disciples did take time to rest and pray, but it’s important to note the bulk of their time was spent ministering to others.
If you are looking to become more like Jesus, it will happen through service. Serving others is the place where the Holy Spirit most quickly reveals our weaknesses and refines us into his image.
The apostle Paul also compared the church to the body of Christ. He explained that each member of God’s family has a role to play within the church. If you are a follower of Jesus, then you play a part in the body of Christ.
